Civil Use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems

CURPAS (Civil Use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems)

Unmanned aircraft systems exist now for several years and various fields of civil use can’t be imagined without them anymore. At the beginning of 2016 the Innovation Forum ‘Civil Use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems’, funded by the german BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research),  is carried out by the Institute of Industrial Information Technology of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus – Senftenberg by Prof. Uwe Meinberg. As a result of the Innovation Forum and with diverse researches of my academic chair, we succeeded in founding the association CURPAS e.V. in October 2016, which deals with the topic of unmanned flight systems in Brandenburg/ Berlin and beyond.

It is important to socialize within a association and for this reason we are member of UAV Dach and UVSI.

If you are interested in construction, the use or research activities around RPAS, you are in good hands in our network. Download here the application for admission, constitution and contribution rules.
